Here's Snoopy and his boon companion Birdie on a well-deserved vacation at the Grand Canyon!  Snoop intended to hike to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon and back that day, but learned they didn't allow dogs on the trail.  He decided his friend Renee should go ahead and scout it out to get photographs of it for him while he took a long nap, instead.
Coming soon, photos of Snoop on the set!  Plus, Special Bonus Feature: Fantastic dance video of Snoop in action!

Here is Snoopy's debut, presented at the second birthday party of Miss Renee.  Even though Snoop grew up to be very different in color, fur (or lack thereof), and body shape, if one looks closely at the dog, even then he is demonstrating that trademark Snoopy awareness of the camera as well as his habitual look of slight worry, even trepidation.  Today, years later, even with only one eye, the look of Snoop remains the same!  Star quality is something you're born with, apparently.

Two things to notice with these exclusive photos obtained at great expense from anonymous sources:  1) Notice the single eye of Snoop in the photo on the left, catching the camera, upstaging the grimy children effortlessly, and 2) On the right, notice that even though just a few years have gone by, Snoop has already matured into his current pear-shaped physique and fur-less state.  Also, a dog wearing sunglasses might seem affected on anyone else, but even then he had a star's trendsetting sense of fashion!  They work!

Two of the many moods of Snoop.  Above- Snoopy loves flowers, especially roses and tulips.  Here he is relaxing with his boon companion Birdie and a rose from the garden.  Left- Snoopy learned to play harmonica on a road trip and briefly took to carrying a knife and sporting an earring. He's got a bit of the "junkyard dog" in his soul. Obviously!
